#Wait, #What?!? I never knew that about Bing Search…

… but as of 10/21/2011, you’re limited to 150 usable characters per search request.  O_o

I’m not kidding. I searched for the following string and got 8,250 results that were all over the place…

Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {00061033-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following error: 80040154 Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)).

… but when I shortened it to the following 125 characters I got a much tighter and applicable search result…

“failed due to the following error: 80040154 Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)).”

Want proof? It’s here: http://onlinehelp.microsoft.com/en-us/bing/ff524480.aspx –> Look near the bottom, in the “Notes” section.
